Construction was a regular occurrence at the mansion to accommodate Campbell’s 14 children and frequent house guests. The dining room even had 32 chairs ready to seat the family and visitors, and this set up can still be seen today. The property also includes “Strangers Hall,” Campbell’s hexagonal brick study, a schoolroom, and the dormitory room that was once a part of the Buffalo Seminary within the home.
